The GTXGN-12 Solid-Insulated Ring Main Unit is a 6–12 kV power distribution solution that has been independently developed. Using eco-friendly epoxy solid insulation and vacuum arc extinguishing chambers, it achieves zero SF6 pollution. The fully sealed, IP67-rated modular enclosure supports rapid on-site expansion, and plug-and-play, fully insulated cable heads enable instant connection. A front observation window provides clear visibility of the disconnecting points and a dedicated grounding switch optimises the electric field to ensure operational safety.
An integrated voltage transformer provides uninterrupted power to the motorised operating mechanism and FTU via power extraction and battery backup, enabling seamless integration with remote automation systems. Thanks to its compact structure and flexible wiring, the unit can be configured with load switches, fuses or vacuum circuit breakers, making it ideal for urban commercial districts, residential communities and ring network switching stations.
