MDmax ST Low-Cost Switchgear Assembly Operating Conditions
- The Mdmax low-voltage switchgear is suitable for indoor installation.
- Ambient temperature: Maximum short-term temperature: +40°C; maximum 24-hour average temperature: +35°C;
- minimum temperature: -5°C. Derating is required when operating above the specified ambient temperatures. Environmental conditions: During normal operation, climatic conditions must comply with the relevant provisions of the GB7251.1-2005 and IEC60439-1 standards.
- Ambient relative humidity: 50% at 40°C.
- Installation sites for indoor switchgear must meet the requirements of the relevant standards. In locations prone to condensation, ventilation or heating measures must be implemented within the switchgear to prevent it. If switchgear is installed at an altitude exceeding 2,000 metres above sea level, the equipment must be derated accordingly.

Product Application
The Mdmax low-voltage switchgear frames utilise aluminium-zinc coated sheet metal with double-folded edges. The top cover of the horizontal busbar zone is removable. The mechanical design is modular, offering three functional units: drawer-type, removable and plug-in. The switchgear supports up to 36 circuits. Selecting standard components and assemblies achieves compactness, versatility and flexibility, enhancing the drawer-type electric operating circuit solution.
